Rebecca Enonchong: Pioneering Africa’s Tech Renaissance

Rebecca Enonchong stands as a beacon of innovation and leadership in the global technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem. As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of AppsTech, a renowned provider of enterprise application solutions, and the co-founder of I/O Spaces, an inclusive coworking space in the Washington DC metro area, Enonchong has been instrumental in driving technological advancements and fostering entrepreneurial growth on both local and global scales.

With a commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and promoting digital innovation, Enonchong has played a pivotal role in various organizations and initiatives across Africa and beyond. Serving as the Board Chair of Afrilabs, a Pan-African network comprising over 400 innovation centers in 53 African countries, she has championed the cause of supporting millions of entrepreneurs in Africa, providing them with the resources and opportunities needed to thrive in the digital age.

In addition to her leadership at Afrilabs, Enonchong chairs ActivSpaces (African Center for Technology Innovation and Ventures), where she oversees the support and mentorship of entrepreneurs from three tech hubs in Cameroon. Her dedication to fostering entrepreneurship extends further as she serves as a mentor and advisor to numerous technology startups, leveraging her wealth of experience to guide and inspire the next generation of innovators.

Beyond her involvement in entrepreneurship and technology, Enonchong’s impact extends to the global stage through her roles on various boards and organizations. As Vice Chair of the WHO Foundation and a board member of the International Chamber of Commerce, Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa), US Exim SAAC, and the UNECA Center for Digital Excellence, she actively contributes to shaping policies and initiatives that drive positive change and promote inclusive growth.
